Weekly Photo Challenge: Serenity

Anytime I need a break from daily insanity, I go to my serene happy place. One of several happy places, actually, accumulated over a lifetime of hikes and roadtrips. Imagining the soft forest floor under my feet, and the scent of pine and damp earth in the air, instantly lowers my heart rate and relaxes my body.
